Making a bequest in your Will to the MAA is an enduring testament to your life’s work and supports the next generation of physicians who will carry on the tradition of excellence in medicine. Your gift will support MAA programs that assist medical students at U of T, as they dedicate themselves to becoming the next leaders in medicine.
This legacy gift allows you to leave a more substantial contribution than would be possible during your lifetime, while still retaining control of your assets. You can leave a specific amount of money, a piece of property, securities, a percentage of your estate, or a part of its residual value.
Talk with your family and loved ones about the legacy you would like to leave to the MAA. Then consult your lawyer about your Will and how to add a bequest or codicil.
Be sure to inform us of your bequest and your wishes by sending us a quick email at medical.alumni@utoronto.ca. It will allow us to thank you, recognize your generosity, and plan for the future.
