GRANTS ON HOLD
Travel grants for 4th-year electives, international health selectives and CREMS research programs are suspended until further notice.

MAA Student Programs

Zero-interest loans

The MAA grants zero-interest loans to medical students who meet the criteria. Repayment begins one year after graduation, and the loan remains interest-free as long as the loan is not in default. If you can establish financial need, you may qualify for an MAA zero-interest loan of $3,000.00 per academic year.

MAA Excellence Awards

The MAA presents awards to recognize clinical and academic excellence. MAA award student recipients are selected by the Faculty’s Undergraduate Awards Committee.

How to Support MAA

The cost of medical school and living in an expensive city like Toronto is daunting. Your contribution can help relieve some of the stress of this financial burden and make a difference in helping talented and deserving students make it to Convocation Day.
